My Graduation Ceremony
I'm so happy to tell you guys that I finally graduated from my high school on 1st March. This year's graduation ceremony is quite different from usual ones due to Corona Virus, so the scale of ours is so much smaller than usual ones and we had no guests, which was very sad. But I did receive a qualification of my graduation on this day. It takes normal high school students 3 years to graduate from high school, but it took me four years to graduate from my high school because I had to go to my high school for another extra year in the reason of having been in Australia for a year as an exchange student. To tell you guys the truth, it was so long, and I'm like "FINALLY!!". However, looking back all of my memories in high school, I'm a little bit sad to graduate. It makes me feel blue that I have to say goodbye to my friends, great teachers and my school. I entered this high school four years back. (I dare not to mention the name of my high school in the aspect of privacy.) Back then, I was completely at a loss. I really worried about whether I could make friends, keep a pace of studying with everyone and get along with each other. But, as a time went on, we experienced a lot of things such as a training camp,a sport festival, a school festival and a chorus competition. Every time we got through these events, we realized that we could deepen a strong bond with my classmates. I really loved everyone of my former class. When I decided to go abroad to study in Australia for a year, they pushed me encouragingly. Without their encouragement, I wouldn't be able to make a final decision of going abroad to study. Now I really thank them. After I came back to Japan from Australia, I belonged in a new class whose members are one year junior to me. At first, I was being so nervous with becoming a member of that class because my image of that class was hard to get along with. But I really didn't have to worry about it because they are very easy to talk to and so talkative compared with their attitude. Now I believe it was lucky to be one of them. Owing to them, I could overcome the pain of preparing for an entrance exam for a university. Owing to them, I didn't have to persist with the memories that I made with the members of former class of mine.
Now I just don't know how to describe how thankful I am to you guys... Through meeting a lot of people who are now my friend, great teachers and Rotary, I could make a lot of irreplaceable memories in my high school life. Also I owe it to everyone that I could make my goal come true, which is to be accepted by the university which I chose as my first choice. Every single things which happened to me were the things I never could accomplish by myself. I'm so grateful for everyone who were involved in me!!
