It's time for us to be connected...

Hello there. How are you guys doing recently? Now the world is tremendously fell into a huge  confusion of Corona Virus. The people infected by the virus are over 250 in the prefecture where I live. At first I thought that it would never be related to me. However the virus gradually robs us of a bunch of things we were really looking forward to. The graduation ceremony held by my high school was taken place somehow, but the scale of it was by far smaller than usual ones, which I'd never expected. Also the entrance ceremony of my university was cancelled due to the virus and the new semester will begin about 1 month behind the schedule. This is a sad reality that the campus life I'd been dreaming of is missing. The situation which surrounds us is getting harder and harder than we were first expecting. The Japanese government recently announced the emergency declaration. I personally thought the declaration will be done strictly with a strong compelling force like other countries which announced the declaration likewise. But a lot of Japanese people don't take it so serious. It's because there are some businesses that make their employees go working and some younger people who hang out by making use of the additional days off because of the virus. In the other countries like the US, put the strong enforcement into the nation like the banning for people to go out without a permission. Most Japanese people are taking peace for granted. But we are facing a harder time than we are thinking. IT'S TIME FOR US TO BE CONNECTED! We've gotten to protect our family, friends and of course ourselves. But what can we do to protect ourselves from the virus specifically? According to WHO, the easiest way we can protect ourselves is to wash our hands regularly like when we get home and before eating something. That's it! I think we don't have to do something big or extraordinary to avoid being infected such as buying an antibacterial paper or occupying a mask. Let's do what we can do no matter how big or small it is. Washing hands, avoiding the crowds, trying not to touch what other people have touched. Now that it's high time for us to get over with this all together.
